Panorama

Here is another pano. This one is only four shots stitched together.
I think the original was around 40 inches long. I reduced this copy
to keep the file size down.

Funny that the sky is red though the stars are blue...

For example, in Sigma-17, I think, the half of the sky which has a blue star is blue, and the other half with a green star is green.

I take several screen shots, sometimes as many as 12 or 13. Each one overlaps about 20% or more. Then I load them into a program called Panorama Factory. I do retouching and repainting in Photoshop. I also resize the final result.

The problem doing this in a hostile situation is that the bad guys shoot at the photographer, me. I need to be able to stay in one spot for a while.
I was doing a panorama in Operation Flashpoint once. I was almost done and I saw flashes on the screen. I was so caught up in the creative process I didn’t realize someone was shooting at me until almost too late.
