Worst ship in the game?

Today I had my first experience with a Startracker. DEAR GOD. The maneuverability of a Justice heavy fighter combined with the firepower of a Starflyer. And three times the cost of the Patriot light fighter, which is better armed and FAR more maneuverable. So I nominate the Startracker as the worst ship in the game.

Anyone else have a nomination? Be sure to say WHY, don't just start naming ships.

I'll say the Humpback...

it's a brick..

Is it that slow compared to the Dromadary? I was thinking about buying it at 20th level...

The Startracker is the worst. The handling is horrible, and the firepower still sucks. Why not buy a Defender for 5k less?

I am looking forward to flying the Starblazer as soon as the Frosty mod enables it.

Now, now, don't go bashing my Humpy. As I say very clearly in my Humpback thread (in Spoiler)
you CANNOT dogfight in a Humpy. It's for Turret Mode. A very dangerous brick

Startracker is the worst, as noted.

I dont have trouble with any fighter ship now i use the engines off method. you can change directions instantly. Makes any fighter more agile :p

The class of ship has a great deal to do with it's ability to dogfight, haul freight, or just haul a**. However YOU must decide how you want to spend your time and money.

I personally like to do trade missions and therefore I choose the Dromedary, yes it has less shields/Armor than the humpy but she is a more agile ship and has a greater cargo capacity which equates to more money per run.

Now before you all jump on me about it, let me say that I have not any problems avoiding trouble with this thing and I used to own a humpy as one of my first things I did after SP as many of you did was buy one. what a PIG! won't turn can't hardly get out of it's own way and missed a few docking gates it is that bad. Some like it most hate it enough said.

If you are going to be an explorer then buy a Titan she is a tank but also flies like one.

Want to be a bounty hunter then I would buy an Eagle or Sabre (I own one of these on a seperate time line).

Want to hang around do a few select missions, hit some ships in trade lanes and really have a good time then buy a Banshee, Valkyrie, Stiletto, or Falcon. These are classed as HF (except for the Banshee as it is LF) but fly more like something in between HF and VHF. I personally like the manuverablity and hard hitting capability of the Banshee. It almost hits that zone between LF and HF without sacrificing either one of the best strenghts or weakness.

So you see it depends a great deal on what you plan to do with your character and how you plan to use your ship that would determine what ship is the best.

Nomad Fighter. Simply because you cant get one without a hack or mod! I mean, who wouldn't wanna fly one of those possessive space vegatables?
