MOST challenging part of the space so far... BEE HIVE scenar

if you piss off bounty hunters, red hessians, and corsairs, ALL at the same time in one of the systems that you may see and fight against all three.
if fighting against 3 wings of nomads seem like no challenge, go to the system
(in the spoiler forum)...
http://www.lancersreactor.com/t/forum/t ... er&M=False

, after making sure hessians, bounty hunters and corsairs are your enemies, then don't kill any of their ships, just keep evading missiles, and weapons, once it looks like you're in a bee hive with dozens of angry bees, then start shooting. if you can make it you might just wish non-exist "level 39" was like that.
Needless to say that, in order to make it more challenging you should start the fight with no shields / nanobots since you would start picking them up once you start the killing spree.
OR you can make it even more interesting, unmount and ditch your advanced thruster AND shield generator into the cargo hold, then try it, if you can still make it while there are more enemy ships on the screen then there are asteroids congratulations.
but please do yourself a favor, do NOT try it with a level 1 ship, while it's possible to kill a few of the each enemy, then get the heck out there, if you wait / if your ship doesn't explode by that time, once they become more than 15-16 ships... that's one sure way to find out whether heaven/hell exist.
Any other challenging ideas you've found?

there's no glory in practice, but w/o practice there's no glory.

try killing your enemy without shooting them (drive them to the sun, planets, etc..)

Try pirating in a starflier.
Try finding lvl10 guns in a starflier.
Try to take on Nomads in a starflier.
Try to beat SP in a starflier.
Try ticking off Planet Crete or Malta in a starflier.

For some reason I get the feeling this would lead to a certain future as space dust.

it reminds me of a mission , where u chosen by orillion <ya that sonovabitch> to get into abandoned place <riiiiiiight> to take nomad's energy cell.
gettin the energy cell wasnt to difficult for me, but when escaping from hordes of nomads + rheinlands AND A FLEET OF BATTLESHIP blocking ur jumpgate

-> thats when ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE <-

how bout, you make enemies with EVERY faction, then try to fly across the universe.

in a starflier.

with no sheilds.

or thrusters.

or guns.

Equip your freighter with nothing but shield killers, and then ram the enemy for the hull damage

Them Xenos in starfliers make very hard targets when you start doing that.

Just my $0.02, but it could just be the cardamine talking.

For a real challenge, go after the bad guys in an escape pod with just your hand blaster. :-)))

it doesent matter how good of a pilot you are you can't win against 100 ships in a un-sheilded starflier

Try cruising around Leeds in your Dagger and hearing a Junker say "Okay, DROP THE CARGO"....then when you turn around to teach him a lesson, you see that he and his 3 buddies are all flying Rheinland Cruisers (Rebalance MOD 1.6).
