What is it with these damn games, what they miss out in one

Why is it with space combat/trade games they always miss features out that you would have thought would be obviously included.

Take X-Tension. You couldnt land on planets and there wasnt a bar/ chat area to get missions. In freelancer you cannot barrel role, dock manually, there arent enough gadget addons for your ship and you cant buy destroyer class ships. The only game that really had all these features was Elite II years ago. If I spent hundreds of development hours creating a game I wouldnt stop short on features that are relativly simple to implemnt.

Well, sure it would been fine if you could've docked manually and rolled like a barrel... but that doesn't really matter. Does it?

If only Tachyon: The Fringe had as big a universe as FL.

That was an awsome game, but too short even though you can play it twice,
joining each side.
