Whats the best shield & wheres the hardest missions?

I'm pootling around killing everything in my kick-ass titan with nomad weapons and would like to know what the best shield available is and where can I buy it from? Also where are the hardest missions available? Omcron Gamma is the hardest I've found. -Si.

LVL 43 GMG mission for Outcasts against 3 waves of Eagles lvl 20 each, each ship loaded with skyblasts, made for a very lengthy battle. I wouldn't expect your Titan to last long, it simply doesnt have the turning circle for Eagles in those numbers. I barely survive in my Sabre. Stuck to nice and easy Bounty Hunters since then when doing missions for 200k+

ed: if you have the Titan then you should have bought the shield at the same time.

Where do you get 200k+ missions? The most I can find is £140k working for the corsairs in gamma.
The shield i've got is about 8000 units is that the best?

Wow I was *SOMEWHERE* (dont wanna get banned for not being in the spoiler forum) the other day and I found a job for 300k...no joke.

I was in Omicron Theta and getting level 49 missions for over 300k on a regular basis, my partner claims, and i vaguely remember a mission for 475k, but i wont swear to it

Never knock on Deaths door, ring the doorbell and run...he hates that.
