A better freighter than the dromedary?

Is there a better freighter available than the dromedary, because you can fid e.g. on malta level 10 shields for freighters which wont fit on the dromedary, so if anyone has an answer to this one.....

No, there is no freighter that is better than the Dromedary, even though there are lvl10 freighter shields. Don't you all find it strange? It's like DA expected people to add freighters capable of 10th level shields... *cough* conspiracy *cough*

There is no freighter which is better than the Dromedary. But the Humpback freighter can mount Class 7 shields and weapons.

The Vola Thorax freighter is much better. Shields at level 8 , guns max at 8.

Pretty fast, almost as fast as the drone. Carries 350 cargo..

Better freighter than the Dromedary? The Humpback, of course. Sure, it has 9% less cargo capacity, but it WILL get you there alive. And that extra 9% doesn't matter if you succumb to a pirate raid halfway through your run.

But no, there is no level 10 freighter. One of the many things they should address in the expansion pack.

ahh but the Vola Thorax doesn't exist in the un-modded game, does it? Drom is by far superior to the humpback imho - but i guess it depends on your playing style. personally i'd gladly sacrifice the extra armour and firepower so that i gain the ability to turn corners.

The Vola Thorax doesn't even exist in the first place..

It's not about the brick, it's how you fly the brick.

A tradeof between powerful guns and shields, or flyable ship.

In the liberty, not many thing can harm the humpback..
