It wont let me dock

ummm, I have a prob on mission 3. just after leaving the Willard research facility I set off as instructed by Jumi to California minor. Half way there, there is a cut scene of 3 military ships and then after that I cant dock with and stations or planets. this might be explained in the cut scene but the voices dont play on my pc.

any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

This is a well known sound bug. Check the Tech Issues forum. One of the stickys is called "Easier fix for sound problem" or somthing like that. Fix your sound and that mission will work right.

If I had a nickel for every time someone told me that my idea for melting down coins to make a giant robotic parrot was a bad idea, I would have one kicka$$ giant robotic parrot.

Sorry for the double post....

You can also ram (not shoot) the 3 ships intill they are dead and the mission will progress. But it's much better to hear what people are saying so you know whats going on. And I don't know if there are any other problems durring the game if you don't fix the problem...

I have fixed the sound bug now and have voices in every scene except for the scene I need. How come after we stop talking the ships dont just turn red and attack. shorly the lack of audio makes no difference to this!

Sorry but you are wrong, the exact bug is responsable for that exact problem you are haveing. Keep reading the replies to the thread I mentioned before and I'm am sure you will find the solution. you need to fix the sound compleatly and it will solve your problem. It worked for me when I had that bug.

Damnit double-posting again. You might have to start a new game after you do those steps in the thread I mentioned.

I'll give the steps in the post another go and see if it works this time. I think ElectricBrain should get payed by Microsoft for fixing there mistakes. They really should have released a patch for this problem by now since it seems so wide spread.

It is mentioned vaugley in the readme file that came with the game. but the post by ElectricBrain (created by Mad Dog) makes it easier.
