how do u save ur player for the internet games?

how do u save ur player for the internet games?

every time i play a new game online in freelancer i have to re-enter my player name and start all over. how do i save myplayer so it keeps my ship and cash.

(its my first post ever here. YEY ME. lol)

That's really odd... You should have been prompted to create a character the first time you logged onto a server, and been allowed to reload it every time you entered again. Your character is constantly autosaved as you play. NOTE: Your player only works on ONE server, so if you switch servers you need to make a new character. You can't transfer a player from one server to another.

Also, I don't believe it was mentioned, but you have to return to the same server to get your previous character back. Each server is entirely independant and there isn't currently any way for a player to transfer characters from one server to another (the admins can do it, but it is a lot of work).

Your character is saved on the server you join, if you go somewhere else, you'll have to create a new one. if you dont want to keep doing that, keep going to the same server
