Sheild Batteries

I've noticed that when you hit the ol' F key your shields come back to full strength but the number of batteries used to accomplish this varies depending on shield depletion level. Is there a simple formula for how much replenishment each battery does or does it vary by ship and shield type? Does it cost extra to replenish your shields when they are completely gone?

Yea... I can't remember the exact number but I thought the discription for the shield battery says each battery is worth 200 shield points or something like that.

Ya, I think it's 200 points as well. And the more powerful shield you have, the more points it has. So, subsequencly, you'll need more batts before you can repair your shields to full strength. Thats why larger ships, with better shields, have more room for Batts and Nanos.

Thanks!

I looked it up, it's actually 300 points.

...which still uses up an unhealthy 28 or 29 of them per whack when you reach the class 10 shield, so it's much better to start turboing and recharge your shields the old fashoned way.

Reaper: $200,000,000.
Rockets: $100,000
The look on that pilot's face when you launch a full pod of screamers up his tailpipe: priceless
