Question about weapons...

Hi... I have a question... When a weapon description says it does 29 damage, and fires at 8.33 does that mean each single laser shot does 29 damage or its adds up to 29 after mutiple hits?? It is hard for me to put into words exactly what I am trying to ask, so I hope you understand the question...

Seems like a simple enough question. If it says 29 damage then it means 29 damage each hit.

If I had a nickel for every time someone told me that my idea for melting down coins to make a giant robotic parrot was a bad idea, I would have one kicka$$ giant robotic parrot.

So you mean if I shoot one shot at a target, that one shot is 29 in damage... just one single tap on the mouse button??? I know I might sound dumb, but I have been wondering about this for a while....

Don't forget the very important element. It is only 29 damage if you *hit* the target. Otherwise the damage is 0. Unless it is a missle or mine in which case, close is good enough.

And different weapons are more or less effective against particular shield types. I don't think anybody's worked out whether the damage ratings are maximum or average values.

Some weapons have other features that you learn about in bars. Plasma cannons for example.
