Stuck in the navy in MP mode?

Im best friends with corsairs online but i still have navy next to my name and navy is flashing on my rep screen, how do i get rid of this? i see some players dont have navy next to their name? I dont want to be navy anymore i want to live the darkside

Ive slaughtered endless police and navy and done countless missions at leon base for corsairs so what else can i do?
