@argonus--But! If the LSF is a civilian police force and Liberty is supposed to resemble the U.S., as we are lead to believe, then Juni couldn't have joined until she turned 21. Civilian police agencies don't allow recruits to join in a law enforcement capacity any younger than that. I doubt that Juni could have achieved a rank that would be a career high for most officers in under 10 years--I even doubt that she could even do it that quickly, actually. In order to do that Juni would have to be stunningly exceptional... something that the game never even implies! All the bartender in Manhattan says about Juni is that she's a hardnose.
If the LSF is a branch of the Liberty Armed Forces then the chances of Juni being under 30 is even more remote. To be an officer in the military would require Juni to have a college education. She would not have received her officer's commission until the age of 22 unless, again, she was very exceptional which we have no reason to believe. To reach a command level rank in less than 12 years would be unreasonable to even assume. If Juni is less than 35, under those conditions, and she gets her regular upgrades as she is supposed to then she would be in command of her own command class ship at or before she turned 40! That's very unheard of... command level naval captains aren't under 40 when they get their own command--they just aren't.
Considering the kind of operations that Juni runs at her rank imply that she has civilian police responsibilities. Either way, if you look at what we know about Juni and what we know about the police/Armed Forces then the chance of Juni being in her 20's anywhere is really remote.
