the zoners and te outcasts are not mission playable why? cuz no one likes them and they have no real value to the game. once you make buddy buddy with them all you can do is land where they live. buy there weapons and ships if there any good but thats about it. normally you could try finding a system where they hangout the most dock at space port or planet and go to the bars. talk with the bars tenders and for a small fee they can improve your rating with the guilds at the expense of losing points with another.

Zoners have no allies and enemies. I didn't get how to be friendly with them. Maybe attacking criminals in the systems where zoners have bases. I have no idea. However i was killing outcasts and i think my rep with zoners are going down. I dunno why.

hm, you should be able to fly missions for the outcast at last because the have some enemies (eg bounty hunters), yet for the zoners you cannot do anything since they have no real enemies

I'm not sure what value being friendly with the zoners actually provides appart from the occasional piece of equipment they might sell on a freeport somewhere (I can think of only one desirable piece of freeport equipment, and that only requires you be friendly enough with them that they allow you to land).

They don't provide missions, they don't have any enemies or allies to make aligning with them useful. Nada.

And yet it is puzzling that no matter what I do I can watch my rep with the zoners gradually decrease over time.

that is because they are slightly affiliated with the xenos, ie if you kill them, the rep with the zoners will slowly drop aswell...

Less well known is the fact that the zoners are slightly affiliated with the following:
Lane Hackers, Unioners, GMG, IMG and Bounty Hunters
To get technical any change in your rep with these factions will change your rep with the zoners in the same direction by about a tenth as much

I actually suspect they are slightly affiliated with everyone and take a slight rep hit every time you kill anyone at all. For example, by Xeno rep is pure green because I've never killed a single Xeno since I finished the SP campaign.

well its making more sense but I could swear in the SP game I was able to get missions at freeport 9 and now in MP i cant.

Rad, you probably flew the missions for the Bounty Hunters or Corsairs. They both come to that place as well and if you are having a good reputation with either of them (or both), you'll be able to do missions for these factions.

nah, according to the empathiy ini theyre actually affiliated with:
- Bounty Hunters: 0,05
- GMG: 0,1
- Lane Hackers: 0,05
- IMG: 0,1
- Unioners: 0,1
- Xenos: 0,15

I couldn't be botherd going through the Zoners' allies, but instead of looking at thier allies and enemies list, look at other faction's enemy list or friend list to see if they like or dislike them.

Well the outcasts at malta are giving me missions now. Maybee Im just lossing it.
