The titan looks coolest, and is best for Sp, which is all i play. with 2 skyblast Bs, 2 Diamondbacks and 2 Nomad lasers, its invincible.

Is the difference between level 9 and level 10 really that immense? Because the Hammerhead sure wins in the looks department. I haven't gotten to VHFs yet (I'm in single player with a Barracuda that I LOVE), but I've heard that the Hammerhead is also the most agile VHF. Which counts for a lot.

you said the eagle is lacking? in what? It's maneuverablility more than makes up for any possible flaws.

I got into a duel in my Sabre with an Eagle last night. Yes, the Eagle seemed more manueverable and it was near impossible for me to get behind the guy, but we were both getting about the same amount of hits in. Also, it seemed he was unable to get behind me either, I'd think that I would have eventually won the battle under the circumstances.

However, he did kill me. He didn't win though, the torpedo he launched at me in close proximity killed us both!!

Flying this baby you need at least some skills to shoot those NPC's, and with the right setup you can put up a good fight with VHF (allthough you'll probably lose in the end)

I'm currently liking the Falcon. It turns nice, and can mount some fairly decent guns (two 7's three 8's).

And I did kill a titan with it - admittedly the pilot wasn't the best... I dont think I'd stand a chance against a really good pilot, but it'd be funny to try

But out of the three VHF's you've named, I think I'd go for the eagle or sabre. Both look fairly good, and turn better than that brick called the titan

Same argument again... should have put it in a file and cut-and-paste when ever a thread like this comes up!

Back on topic, I prefer not to get hit in the first place over heavy armour, which I never plan on using anyway, so the Eagle is the way to go.
