Titan on paper but both the saber and eagle look cooler

well, ill restate what i said on another thread:

they way i see it is that all the VHF are equal, the eagle may have better turning than the titan, but the titan has more armor. the sabre may have that fancy front shooting turret, but i find it very easy to hit (too many wings and stuff). so with the right pilot and weapons, a sabre could take out a titan or eagle. a titan can take out a sabre or eagle. and an eagle can take out a titan or sabre.

i think of it as sort of an RPG type selection, the eagle is the agile archer (weakest armor, but very cunning). the titan is the strong barbarian (brute strength, yet big and clumsy). and the sabre is the magician (added attack, but can make a easy target when in trouble).

SABRE ALL THE WAY! I loaded mine with level 9 shields, 5 Skyblast Bs and 2 Guardians. Ripper mines, Hornet Cruise Disrupters, oh yea, I'm unstoppable. The sabre has relatively good handling and acceleration, it's definitely superior to the Eagle and as far as the Titan, I feel sorry for the poor guy who dropped 700 grand on that flying pig.

i would say titan... coz you might get the same "problem" as i did
i now have 7 guns and 1 turret mounted on my titan
a little error... but i aint complainin

For me, it has to be the Eagle all the way. I've fought guys in Sabres and Titans and they turn really slow. Once you get on their tail its all over because you can out turn them. The difference in the Hull doesn't make a noticeable difference at all. If you think about it, the 2700 point hull advantage that the titan has over the Eagle doesn't mean anything. If you're sheilds go down, you're in big trouble. 2700 points isn't going to save anybody because guns can do that in 1 second easy. If you like to duel people, go with the Eagle. The only thing that is "bad" about the eagle is that yes, its hull is weaker than the other 2. So this means you can't go flying around in radiation as long as the others can.

With the turret mod for HFs and VHFs that enables all turrets to fire forwards, there's really no reason to use any other craft over an Eagle. Only advantage Sabre had was the forward-firing turret, and the Titan is simply too sluggish by all accounts.

Titan to explore and survive,
Sabre to do outworld missions and make money,
Eagle to be a Pirate and hit trade lanes and such.
Just some thoughts from the edge of space.

I gotta agree wiht GodSpeed about them all being equel, but i would still buy the sabre above the others because its cool looks sway the balance in its favor

In my experience the Eagle is the best. That excellent turning can help you out in tight spots. Ive tried flying the sabre but I didn't like it as much as I did the Eagle but its still a good ship because of its looks. Now about the Titan, I can't say anything because I've never used that "flying cow" as some people say. I have yet to try the Titan, although I doubt I ever will unless I'm completely bored, but until then I say Eagle all the way.

i think godspeeds interperatation on the crafts is nearest to the truth and in personnally think the eagle is the best
