Explain installing the rebalance mod the hard way for me. What i'm doing is recoping the folder and isnatltling the reblancemod05c.flmod file in the data directory but it's not working! Help.

You have to copy the files from the rebalance mod into their respective folders for them to work. The ship files in the rebalance directory go into the ship files in the Freelancer directory and so on. Do not entirely replace the folders, just put the new files into them. I suggest you back up your files before you replace them.

There's only one file though? Do i unzip it? How do i do that it's a .flmod file....

Well, the one I got was a zip file full of folders that I had to manually copy and paste.

eeekkk!!....

Remember that modding only involves changing the original files with modded file that has the same name an extension...

If you copy the folders at their respective places, the mod will work..

It will take a little bit of searching and backing up files, so be patient..
