has anybody tried the "homeplanet" demo yet?

i'm downloading it right now. the screenshots are at least the same level as freelancer. maybe even better.. i'm really curious..

me too, although i didn't enjoy the first part of X at all. combat sucked major a§§ and i was too busy checking out privateer 2 at that time ; )
but EVE seems to be another fine looking space sim. i'm curious, whether it's on-line only or not.
