Navy, Trader, etc.

If you have a good rep with a trading business, can you get trading jobs off them, like transporting goods around. If so, will you get escorts or not? Also, can you join the Navy. I know you can get a good rep with them but can you actually join?

you can neither get trading jobs, nor escorts, nor "join" any faction...

That's just the thing. Digital Anvil probably has chosen to keep the joining a faction part out of the game, because you ARE a freelancer after all. Still, it would be great if that would be possible. It's just so endless now. It would be nice if you finally decided after a long time of Freelancing to join a faction and stay with them then.

Join the Navy and just have a patrol mission would be fun. Ok, it would be kinda boring, but still. That would make it more realistic.

The fact that you can't have a mission of attacking or escorting a convoy really sucks. This should definately be in the expansion pack.
