I know that the Liberty LF is the patriot, and one HF is the defender. But wat's the other liberty heavy fighter?

Gun boats are indeed freighters with lots and lots of guns. They have one massive one poiting forewards, so if you have to take one on, do so from behind.

The other Liberty HF is Juni's "unique" ship that isn't, by default, a player-flyable ship. It is nearly identical to the Defender but it has a tail fin and can mount level 6 shields, weapons and turrets instead of only level 4.
