Disrupting Trade Lanes

How do you disrupt trade lanes to make freighters drop out of warp and then be albe to pirate them?

Selcect one of the trade lane scaffolds (preferably not right next to a police base) and it will show a blue health bar... shoot the scaffold and the bar will go down. when the bar is empty the trade lane collapses and people start dropping out of the trade lane and shooting at you.
Usually.

That can be also a great help when you have to flee from enemies. Just get into the nearest TL fly trough one or two TLs jump out distrupt and cruise to the next TL. It's hard to master but a good pilot can (with a little luck) escape a whole enemy wing

My favourite strategy is dumping razor mines next to a gate right before jumping out of an area. I get to jump, but the 3rd mine will collapse the gate and stop any police pursuit from jumping. Also, you can use this trick then drop out of your jump (engage Free Flight) right before the 2nd gate, ambush a convoy, and still have a working gate to use for escape.

After jacking the freighter (aim for the cargo pods), dock (F3) with the next gate to line up your flight vector, switch to free flight, run your turbo (not cruise) up to 199, and cut the engine. This way, you'll be heading toward the docking "hot spot" of the ring at 199, and be able to fire on any pursuit that gets too close, without being affected by cruise disruptors. Once you're very close to the ring (100m), dump out 3 more razors and dock.

As you can see, we professional pirates get very good at escape.
