------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After the nomads get sucked in the hyperjump gate, and i return to manhattan, my next level req. is lower that my current worth. If i saved and loaded there'd say i need to do a mission, but no objectives appeared. Then i loaded a save before the mission of entering the nomads system, and lowered my worth by buying/selling stuff, so that i knew exactly that i had less. And it happened that at worth 60000(15000 less than required), i already needed 115000 to level. I went on jobs, and each time i got credits for jobs, the worth needed for leveling alsow decreased. So at 87k my requirement got again lower then my current worth. Now my req. was 86k, and no mission. Did anyone encounter the same problem? Any help would be appreciated.

The number tells you how many more credits you need to advance a level, not the total amount that is needed to gain a level like when playing the SP missions.

It's a little confusing, but just continue trading or doing missions and you'll notice that you have advanced a level.

Hmm... SP Missions... I should understand that these are the missions concerning the Nomads. But it sais taht there are other missions. Is that a glitch, or there really are other missions?

After you finish the SP storyline and are left on Manhattan, the only missions you can do are the ones you get in the bars. Your next level requirement turns into a countdown...if you have 87k and it says you need 86k what it means is you need 86k more than you have now, or 173k total.

Yes, i've understood that already, but each time i load the game(after restarting it), it says i need a mission to level up. So, is that a glitch, or there are more Missions(like the SP one's - by the way, what does SP mean?)

ok, let me get this straight. you finnished the mission where the nomads get sucked into the gate. you are at manhattan the words "find a job" pops on your screen and when you open up your charicter payne, next to 'next level' it says 'mission'. Is that what you are trying to say?

SP = single player

If I had a nickel for every time someone told me that my idea of building a giant robotic parrot out of melted down coins was a bad idea, I would have one kick a$$ giant robotic parrot.

Yep, and it only appears when i run the game. If i loada second time, the Mission req. will not appear. If i exit to Win, and then run again, it will again state the Mission req. And are there any patches to Freelancer? Havent found any on Microsoft's site.

no patches, are you still leveling? I never payed to mutch attention to the level requierments after the storyline ends sence i use some bad a$$ trade runs and its obvious when I don't level. I don't know what to tell you other then that.

If anytime "Mission" appears on Next Level Req. go get a mission from any bar. You'll advance one level when you complete it.

well I never had that problem. the only time I ever took a bar mission was when you are kind of forced to when you are working with the dragons in SP. i traded through all the other SP missions and after SP was done, all I did was trade. so all in all I only took about 3 bar missions throughout the whole game...
