Trent = Kyle Katarn?

Hello, I am new here, but I am by no means a newbie to forums. I have spent a great time at the Freespace forums at HLP, and now have come here.

My question is this, Would I be forgiven for thinking that the voice of Trent is also the voice of Kyle Katarn in JKII?

I don't know if this has been asked before, if it has, then I apologise.

Dunno. Did Ian Ziering did Katarn's voice too?

hmm..now that i think about it, their voices do sound similar..then again, I nly played Jedi Knight II for a very short time..and I've only played the demo

Nope, Kyle Katarn is voiced by Jeff Bennet.

How funny. I thought the same thing when I first played Freelancer. But I didn't think Ian Ziering was the voice of Katarn.

Alright, I believe you.

But can anyone tell me where I can find a cast list, as I know the voices of many of the characters, but I don't know where from!

(I know Hakkera is Mr. Sulu, though)

you could always look through the credits. (it does have credits, right? I've never checked)

On the last page of the FL manual, there is a credits list. You'll notice that there is a section titled "Principal Cast". Note that John Rhys Davies of Sliders and a few roles on Star Trek Voyager is listed as well. Heh, he's the thrid person of the original Sliders cast to be reused in a new Series. Nice to see that their careers aren't totally in the gutter.

>Also, I think the guy who voice Katarn was also Ens. Munroe in the Elite Force computer game.

John Rhys Davies' career is in far better shape than the rest of Slider's casts! Remember Gimli son of Gloin?

BTW, I was checking Rhys Davies filmography at IMDB when I came across something interesting. His role as Tobias was listed twice, one in 2003 and one in 1999. It made me wonder, could it be that they've made the voice recording MUCH earlier, even before finishing with programming or arts? What do you think?

Charactor: Actor (most famous for)

Edison Trent: Ian Ziering (Beverly Hills 90210 as Steve Sanders)
Jun'ko Zane: Jennifer Hale (she is a voice actor...and she isn't oriental!)
Tobias: John Rhys-Davies (Lord of the Rings as Gimli and Sliders)
Orillion: Michael T. Weiss (The Pretender as Jarod)
Lord Hakkera: George Takei (Star Trek as Sulu)
Dexter Horvis: Xander Berkeley (24 as George Mason)
Dr. Kendra Sinclair: Cree Summer (she is a voice actor)

Yes I'm bored!!

sopjagung, actually that makes sense. I am not sure, but wasn't the mention of 8 Sleeper ships in the dialogue? It wasn't spoken of course, but logically both the scripts for voice actors and in game text dialogue would be written at the same time. Maybe the mention of 8 sleeper ships was written in 99, when they began script writing and they forgot to take it out.

Well it mentions five sleeper ships in the Intro, and there are only four Houses, so what became on the Hispana?

Just do a search on the Hispania in the Spoilers Forum. Can't reveal it here.
