Cruise Speed

Well, I have a little question. Our ship's cruise speed is set to a fixed 300, right? So dies everyone's, theoretically. But say you are 2.0k from your wing on a mission and everyone is at cruise speed. You won't be able to catch up. However, if you click on the "form up" button, your ship will quickly close up and form up. How can that be possible if the max speed is 300? Does Trent's fighter accelerate, or the rest of the wing goes slower?

Yup, noticed that too.

I think that your wing goes slower, so that you can catch up.

It's really nice of them, considering that you can do that with virtually everyone that isn't attacking you.

Know how to fond some pirate bases? Get neutral, then go out with a lot of cheap cargo. When they ask you to drop it, you do so, then tag along.

"Hey, mr. Pirate, now that you stole my cargo, can I hang around and land on your secret base? Maybe we can have some liberty ale"

"Sure thing, freelancer! Let my wing slow down so you can catch up!"

It's much simpler to follow patrol paths around...cheaper too

well... in MP your buddy is goin at 300, your going at 300.... and well you catch up, a bug? or one of those rather interesting anomalies that our universe has in store for us...

Yo, im neutral with local... um ... pirates (dragons and that hard to remember japanese name, no offense 2 any1) cuz I attacked Kusari (I had the ubershield mod on, and I felt like attacking Kusari so

), and I'm looking for one of their bases, so I should just go into formation with em and just tag along basicaly?

you can... but I have noticed that if you tag along with someone nutral they might go hostile for som reson...
