Group Weapons.

Can anyone help me with how to group my weapons?, i have setup the keys for it, but dont know how to assign the 'groups' to the firing keys. please help

CTRL+(number) is how you assign groups. But there is a bug in it. After assigning groups, you must re-assign group 1 or it will be the same as the last group assigned.

Unfortunately, unless you have guns that are designed for sheild eliminating, there is no need for grouping.

There is also a distinct lack of Cyclic firing eliminates the need for grouping.

In addition to using weapons groups to separate good against shield guns from good against armor guns I found another use. I make group 1 all my guns and I make group 2 all my guns plus my torpedo launcher. I don't ever use missiles but if I did I would group them separate too. The bug with assigning groups is a little annoying but once you get the groups set they stay in place.

Let's get those missiles ready to destroy the universe!!

so if i'm not using grouped weapons and have a missile launvher that IS not active, will "Q" still fire that (and any other) missile launcher(s) ?

Haven't heard anyone mention the way I set my qroups..

First you bind keys for groups 1-6.. Group 1 is already assiagned all your guns. If you push the group 2 key it should be empty by default, with no guns assigned to it yet. Then you can just add the guns in manually by clicking them on your HUD.


I group mine as follows..

Group1 = All guns (Energy Bar Drops fast while spraying)
Group2 = Combo (Energy Bar goes up while spraying)
Group3 = Combo (Energy Bar stay in place while spaying)
Group4-Group6 = Vanity Combos. Just looks cool.
