What happens if I die?

Hi, I'm quite a newbie so this might be a stupid question

. Well, I were trading on my usual server and had almost the credits to afford a Sabre. When I went trough a jumphole I ran into some Outcasts. They said that I should drop my cargo or else they would open fire. of c. I didn't give it to them, I wanted my Sabre! So they started shooting me, I used all my nanobots and such and when I had 2 marks left on the powerbar, I left.

So, what happens if I die? Will I lose all my 500.000 credits? Or will I just lose the cargo?

If the server crashed, you keep your cargo + credits. If it (or you) died because of lag, you lose all your cargo and unmounted equipment.

But I just left the server, so I guess I still live

But as soon as I enter, I will die. (The normal way

) So, I love cargo, but not credits??

In that case it's bye-bye cargo and bye-bye profit (but you retain all the $$$ you have at the moment of death).

If you die, you lose all cargo you are carrying (which includes whatever money you spent to buy that cargo). You keep all credits you have at the time of death (repeat, this does NOT include the cost of the lost cargo). You spawn back at the last base you visited.

So, if you have enough credits to buy your ship, then you are lucky. If you were counting on the sale of your cargo in order to afford your ship, then you are S.O.L.

When you exit your char automatically loose all the cargo, all the nanobots/shields/mines/torpedas/... you have used and you char find himself in the last vesited base.

You also lose half of any unmounted weapons your carrying when you die in MP too.
