Hi,
Just got freelancer and I have some questions.
How do you mine stuff?
Why cant you store stuff?
Why oh why is this game so limited , e.g. scanners are crap, No price change in markets, lots of other small things that would make the game more fun...
Eh I am late for work, so I have to go. soz
Someone please do a mod for this game to make it more like a game instead of a shoot em up. Cos thats all it is. Good shell for mod malers. (I think) just look what they did for Half-Life

Lime,

You mine by simply shooting the little pieces of rock that you see floating around your screen while in an asteroid field. Be sure not to have powerfull weapon mounted else you might destroy the the gold, water, etc that you're trying to mine.

I don't know what you mean exactly by storing things... you can store a virtually unlimited amount of weapons and other items (someone please tell me if I'm wrong) when you tractor them in after you've destroyed a ship. The only thing that has a limited amount of space in the game is cargo.... and well that's cargo...there's a limited amount of space in the hull of your ship... Just make sure that you don't get destroyed because then you lose all that you've been storing. If that's not the answer that you're looking for give us something more specific please...

And as for expanding the game or adding features in that you don't see, there are mods out there, just have to look for them, try the editing forum and try the front page, I know that I've seen more than a few mods that are available for download there.

Hope this helps!
