well, it's complicated, first you have to circle around the jumphole clockwise twice, wile firing all your lazers, then circle it anti-clockwise firing your none lazer weapons, then you charge straight into it firing ALL your weapons and when the distance reads 0, you have to cut your engine and turn backways. then bingo! you're there!!

I think I know whats the problem, there are some jumpholes that are used for the sp missions to shortcut the ways.
If you get a access denied message, than those jumpholes are simply sp only (party even only for certain missions)

its abit dumb, that jumpholes like in dublin, one in berlin, one in frankfurt, the gate newyork magellan, etc are simply cut out of the game with a acesse denied message, they should have better removed them complette when not needed instead of this. can be confusing sometimes.

The jump hole in question I have approached from evey conceivable angle and tried the usual methods of jumpgate use.

I am wondering if this particular hole is a one way shortcut only, I dont get any access denied messages like you do when in the middle of a plot mission.

I'll find a different hole to try tonight.

lantril, where is it located? system and sector... (sector = d6, etc...)

Mav its in New york, I am at work so I dont have the co-ords but its down towards the bottom of the sector. Its an in-system jump and the hole I am trying to access is the left most one of the two.

That hole doesn't work except in the SP storyline.
