Can you blow up battleships after the missions are over? In SP ofcourse.

If you think that anyone who does trading runs is a newbie then you are clearly an idiot. Let me put it this way, would you like to get a nice, quick 80k from hauling a bit of Boron to LD-14 in Leeds when you start, or would you like to do 2k missions at Manhattan that are usually extremely far away from you? I had a fully equipped Eagle in 2 hours and 30 minutes through trading, you're welcome to try and beat that by just doing missions.

Also, trading will keep you neutral to most of the factions in the game, and you can easily fix pirate reputation by blowing up one or two depots in Liberty or Bretonia.

I like doing missions not just for money but forging alliences, I also collect guns I tractor in, they're good for a few thousand not to mention the goods you can pick up, especially in New Berlin where the Niobium is $1000+ per unit and all your enemies drop them.


I just modded my game so I can kill battleships

so far 50 battleships killed. mostly Rheinland Liberty Nomad and Bretonian, no Kusari ships, they can cut through my shields incrediblly quick.

Even after a thousand + kills, bounty hunters talk to like "you better get out from here, or there's going to be trouble.."

And some people in their starflier goes "Drop the cargo, you got loot and I want it now."

Why do they scan my cargo instead of my weapons and reps first?.. They should go like "Oh my God!! It's freelancer Alpha1-1!! Lets get out from here while we still can!!"

And not to mention some people telling m "you cannot dock here. You are not allowed in here" What do I have to do? Bombared half the planet before I can dock?.."

With my reps, everybody should run and flee, exception to the traders..

..and I just wonder, where do I buy one of those?...

I play on a server with a few BS mods, I have this on that server:

~1350 fighter kills
~90 freighter kills (cruisers are counted as freighters)
~30 transport kills
~50 battleship kills

but getting more BS kills is impossible, the guy running the server is modding to the extreme now, every BS has, 2 cruisers, 4 gunboats and 6 defenders as escort. And if you think defenders suck, they don't when they have Skyblast B's and lvl 9 champion shields

And usually there are around 10 BS at the main world of the main system of the 4 houses..........you don't wanna fight with them, trust me

You ppl forgot one thing, a small factor. How many hours you have been playing on one charactor?
I don't believe anybody can break my record. In 3.5 hours I killed 721 fighters. Most of them are GMGs. Also I didn't dock once, I gotta a parnter looting goods for me.

I have zero (0) kills but I am anyway a rank 38 as Sleipner, ..... on the server Sleipner!

I have not been needing to kill anyone or anything because I started as a cargotransport-pilot and have been continue with that since.

The money I got, was shared to four other ships (All mine)

Conan -Titan

GIVEUPTHEGOODS You state that players that goes on traderoutes are noobs.Yet you dont even know the name of the Very Heavy Fighter you can buy on Freeport 9 it is called EAGLE,but if you meant taking the FALCON over to Freeport 9 to do missions for the Bounty Hunters then you are clearly a noob cause why do you want to do missions in a FALCON when you can buy the EAGLE at the same place.
About the missions for the BH,why the **** do you want to do missions against the Corsairs if you intend to become they friend.Only idiots does missions against a faction they want to become friendly with and then go pay the faction off with the reward money afterwards,even n00bs knows that if you want to be friendly with Corsairs it´s cheaper and faster to just kill off the damn BH.

i only got 1057 fighter kills and 2 battleship kills thats in single player

I have never done a Trade run, and I dont think I will in the near future either.. No offence but I dont like the idea of a freelancer flying around doing a trade like some sort of Trader. (if u are a trader u usually belongs to a faction).
But yes, it is the easiest and quickest way to gain money! And yes, u probebly get to be neutral with all, or most factions.. But I dont care, I like to have fun, and I have fun flying around, killing of Rouges for 3k each mission.. tehn goes over to Reihland and kills of some more Rouges and Red Hessains, goes over to Corsairs place, kills ven more BH and gains alot of money.. then goes back to Liberty and help out Lvl 1 guys that might need some help. (Why should I make new missions when I got around 15-20 mil Dollars?)
