It's either the Sabre or the Titan. I fly the Sabre, it looks cool although the Titan packs more armor.

Can anybody get their hands on an Armored Transport?

It depends upon what one wishes to be, (amazing just like the game promised). I like the Titan for exploring as the extra armor is handy if "jumped" by baddies or when in radiation zones. It also has some ok cargo space so you can pick up a few coins along the way.

The Sabre or Eagle if you choose to be a bounty hunter and just love those kill ship missions. There are those who can't live without the thrill of the hunt but also love the slaughter later! LOL

And if you want to be a cargo hauler, make nice and smile just right, then go get yourself a Dromedary for freight. The 285 cargo space is nice to make a buck with and it has a good armo, nanobot /shield batt. rating as well. It also isn't quite the pig the Humpback is when turning!

Just a quick note to those who thought the SP mission was too easy or simple to complete. You should try playing the entire thing again as a freighter pilot! I believe you will find the challenge more than enough to keep your blood pumping!

dagger is the best, although valkyries are acceptable also

you can't finish the sp missions using freighter. You'll survive with a drome until you get to the osiris. You just got to get the anubis, or you'll never make it to the nomad homeworld...

Nothing else has the same character. It's the only ship that doesn't feel like a fighter so you have to use the turrets, which is cool.

Since I'm not a pirate, the best ship I've gotten my hands on is the Hammerhead.

Hammerhead isn't that bad.. but i like the eagle cuz it looks cool and it's weapons/armor isn't too bad either.... and the best thing is you don't have to be a Criminal to buy it, you just gotta be decent with the Zoners, who have no enemies or allies. It's at Freeport 9 in the Omnicron Theta system.

think sabre is the best ship all around because of its forward shooting turrent.. else it's eagle just cause it turns best out of the 3.. I would'nt buy a titan unless you do nothing but missions- it gets owned pretty easy by a sabre or eagle in a dogfight and the hull armor does'nt play a real factor in pking

trick to pking in my experience is to get the shields down (easy) then do the finisher- whatever that is.. I don't like the sunslayer- try 2 cannonball missles.. far as guns nomad cannons with a tizona del cid own- with saber you can add the rapier turrent (level which makes taking the shields down even easier.. being your loaded with money by then you should have hornets instead of wasps to knock a guy out of cruise passing by- those are the best kills that usually rage.. if your really loaded get the razor mines- good to have when your dogfighting a heavy falcon.. they can usually outturn the cannonballs- but they almost always fly into those razors and if you keep his shields down you'll get a few nasty pmsgs after his ship blows up

I have passed the SP with a Dromedary, so it IS possible to beat this game with a freighter.
