Yeah, ok. I'm gonna try my hand at deciphering what you just said. I think Strongbad would have a field day with your post.
The mineable zones in Freelancer are areas that contain small moving objects that you can shoot. These objects show up with a white crosshair when you position your targetting reticule over them. Depending on the area you are in, some of these objects will release commodities (water, scrap metal, gold) when shot. You can then tractor those items in and sell them at a base.
Some tips:
- Use only 1 gun when shooting the objects. More firepower has the potential to destroy the item you are mining for.
- Some systems have "better" zones than others. I.E., these zones drop more commodities per object (asteroid, debris.etc) than others. Search around for the better fields.
- Watch for roaming bad guys. Most mineable zones are patrolled by those who would prefer that you don't take thier precious commodities.
With time and a little luck, you can have a lucrative career as a miner.
