Nav Map question

Hey.

On the navmap there sometimes appears a small asterix or star (eg *) next to the names of some planets/bases/whatever when the map is zoomed out.

Wtf does it mean?

The asterisk (*) means that there are more bases/objects in that vicinity of space that aren't showing up because you are not zoomed in (the map can't fit all the names in one spot). Zoom in on those locations and you will see there are more bases in that area.
