I think she means you should level up, and has nothing to do with energy. To level up, simply amass wealth.

I suggest meditation and balanced diet as well as some exercise. Many people have also reported increased energy by getting lots of sleep, but with these wholely addictive games, how is that possible?

But anyway, what she means is get your cruise engines engaged and get moving to your objective.

Remember when in SL you could chnge the power lvl of your engine/weapons/shields? I think he means that. I dunno if that's possible.

Exactly. She says "give power" meaning you should buy new ships with better engines. In order to buy better ships, you have to reach a certain level. To achieve that level, amass wealth.

All ships have the same engines but have different manurvability (err, cant spell). For example, Light Fighters have better manurvability than Freighters.

But in the PC gamer review it said you could change your power between your sheilds,weapons and engines.. Much like in X-Wing Alliance.

I see two possibilities:
1. you misunderstood what they meant in the review
2. they lied

What you *can* do:
- upgrade your weapons by buying better weapons
- upgrade your shields by buying better shields
- upgrade your thruster by buying a better thruster (which doesn't make you faster, it just lets you run afterburn for longer periods of time)

what you *can't* do:
- divert power from one of those items to the other

What she means is that you need to throttle up your engines, thus producing more thrust (energy). She's just pissed that you're so damn slow
