Like I said to another post below; there are African americans in the game. They are in SP (orillion is african american for example) The thing is that after SP there are no more of the. So to a certain degree you could say that there are no african americans in the game, but only to a degree.

there are more, bartender, mission controll, those order commander, etc ... its just that they only make about 1% of the population ... which sounds even about right, or how many black rhinlander, kursaris or britonians you would espect

Judging the game's "racial quota" from 1000 npcs when we're talking about a universe made up of billions of people is futile. Just use your imagination.

You guys are on crack. There are neither Africans nor Amiericans in this game (much less African Americans). There are Libertarians, Kusari, Rheinlanders and Bretonians... but no Americans or Africans.

What shizzle said. stop trying to shove RL labels onto a fake universe. the political correctness movement is going to ruin this country if we don't do something about it. people are people. their actions determine their worth (or lack thereof), not the color of their skin. racism, and reverse racism, is illogical and people just need to get over it and let reason guide them.

Doesn't the token black guy usually dies somewhere in the plot? Mr. What's-his-name there didn't and in fact I believe he played a big part in the story?

And not having any African-Americans (why do we assume they're Americans anyway?) is not necessarily political incorrect. Watch LOTR and you never see any black guys... Lot's of white poeple tho. In fact a guy named Saruman the White... Although I always thought that was a reference to his beard...

None in LOTR because the writer was Bri'ish, gov, and the Brits were racists long before the Americans learned their wiley ways. Ironically enough, that puts them in a better position to understand the dangers of arrogancy in international diplomacy, but I digress...

In any case, yeah, the game keeps a spattering of token Black guys in secondary roles because that's how A-budget B-storyline Hollywood films are usually structured...
