Re-installation and saved files

OK, heres the situation..... i need to re-install XP in my computer.. but i dont wanna lose my saved games..... i have one idea of how to save my saved-games that is copying the whole directory into another hard drive.. but im not too sure... can u please give me some ideas or tell me where is the directory of the saved games so i can replace them once i reinstall XP and re-installed freelancer...

just backup folder called 'my games' in your 'my documents' folder.

in my games folder is a folder freelancer that contains all your signleplayer save games and (if you host a server) it contains player info on all people that played on your server!

Thanks.. didnt know XP was that smart... and i also forgot Freelancer was mircosoft...
