save game editor

Is there a save game editor anywhere? I have managed to loose my save games after reaching level 30, with the Titan and some "unique" weapons?

I'm not very happy, and I don't really want to have to play the 15 advancement levels again??

a) dont come to a FL fan site asking for a CHEAT, just like the ppl who ask about warez u will most likely get flamed and/or locked

b) even if there was, once u have titan and lvl 10 weps its more fun to start over from beginning or play mp, so just do the 15 levs

c) back up your save games in the future... C:\my documents\my games\freelancers\accts\singeplayer is the default place u can find them...

Ask these types of questions in the Editing forum or even the Spoiler forum; but I have to agree with Flak Cannon... it's more fun to start over or play MP!

In sixpax's defense, sometimes "cheating" can allow a different level of experamentation in a game, or it cann allow those players with absolutely no skill to enjoy the harder levels and areas like those of us who are a little more adept, if you will.
So either he wants to just screw around or he really sucks, either way "cheating" shouldn't be an offensive concept as long as he is just doing it in single player.
Cheating is not personally my thing, but if you suck.. you suck. Give him a break.

To be fair he's only asking for a single player cheat, which is less flame-worthy than asking for a multiplayer cheat.

In addition, he also played through enough without the cheat to enjoy as much of the game as he has. That's what I do. I beat the game and then go back and cheat. Technically, that's what you do when using mods like the ship speed ones and the shield stuff and other things. As long as someone has already enjoye the game to the manufacturer's intent, I say cheat on.
