Starkiller torpedo launcher

Recently i found the starkiller torpedo launcher on a station.
I want to know if it is worth to buy, and it's effectiveness against targets.
If you have any experience with this launcher, please give me some answers!

I find it only a good supplement, after ripping off a guys shield just one torpedo should finish him, albeit, you gotta be careuful, ammo get can quite expensive, you gotta wait for the perfect moments to let your torpedo towards your target, they cost less than missiles in the long run (dont use these ALL the time, just when you need to finish a guy off and you know you can do it without firing your guns) and actually track the target, slowly, but thats why you gotta aim correctly so it reaches its target. Its in the end easier to use than a missile, theres only 2 types, Starkiller and Sunslayer, Sunslayer are for those really high levels, simply to round out the package of doom they call a fighter, or just cuz it looks cool. Starkillers are good in fighter combat because they are significantly faster than slayers, anyway, its really up to you in the end, its a great finishing tool and does wonders for Base Assault missions, but all in all you wont use em as much as youd like to, also, its all most dependent on your financial situation, most people dont cosider using torpedo until they have a bigger supplement of cash

Torpedos are intended for large, relative stationary targets like missile platforms, capital ships or bases, not for small agile fighters. Using a Torp' for killing a small ship after bringing down its shields seems a pointless activity and also very wasteful of your resources (if you actually managed to hit it with the slow moving projectile. In that situation you would use a missile not a Torpedo.

The Starkiller Torpedo is great until you can buy the Canonball missiles / Launcher. (Damage is about the same, but Canonball missiles are a lot more expensive)
