Psychobabble2

"I CAN`T HOLD IT ANYMORE! I`M DAMAGED TOO MUCH!!"
The voice of my enemy that entered my cockpit through the intercom that I had connected to my new Sony2000 for enhanced quality, was filled with fear.

The poor guy.. he obviously knows that he`s staring death in the face right now and he must be fully aware that only few precious seconds part him from a meeting with his God..
Afterall, it wasn`t probablyeven his fault that he ended up on the other side of my devistating gunfire, he probably got drafted just like dozens of his buddy`s in this inter galaxian war that has been going on for longer than i can remember now..

Poor guy.
"I NEED BACKUP!!"
It almost makes me want to close my eyes, as i steer out of the loop i pulled myself into to get right behind this sorry enemy and rest my finger on the trigger of my Cerebus for a last shot, a sure kill.
"I..i can`t take it anymore.." the voice in the intercom trembles.. almost sounds calm now.. he knows it`s time for him..
The muscles of my righthand finger tighten the grip on the trigger.

Space is as dark as night and endless like your worst nightmare.
Death uphere is cold. Cold and lonely.
Like an endless hole where your soul will get lost and not even God can find you, save you..

The intense light of the powerfull green bundle of death that is unleashed by my Cerebus escapes the barrel of my gun and flashes towards my enemy.
For a moment, just a second in time, this dark universe looks a little brighter as i see his ship explode infront of me.

It`s funny, how death can seem miserable and beautiful at the same time.
It only lasts a second though, and as the fragments of what once was a proud fighter in the Liberty Navy swiftly get absorbed by the darkness of the universe, all returns black again..
Empty.

Solitude if the death of the human soul.
And the intercom remains silent once again..

uh, lay off the cardamine and try some prozac instead

There are only 10 kinds of people in the world:
those who understand binary, and those who don't.

in stead of prozac just dont shoot, problem solved.

Don't quit your day job.

In the womb, we are all blind cave fish...

Well ... his name *is* "heavywacko"

In any case, let me know what server he plays on so I can deliberately avoid it -- lest I find myself the victim of another installment of excessively violent/deeply disturbing prose

That was beautiful, brought a tear to my eye...

The term "sadist" comes to mind...

"If I wanted your damned opinion, I'da beaten it out of you."

You know, I might even let some of those guys off the hook, except that most of them will continue to fight... even when their hull/sheild meter is black.

Some of those voiceovers are kinda amusing, in a black-hearted way:

"I've lost life support, I've lost power, I've lost-- EAAARRRGGGHHH!"

"No! I don't want to dieeeeeee---BOOOOOMMMM!"

... and after you've wasted a member of a formation:

"I'm the leader now."

You noticed that too, huh morpork? and anyway, about your story, heavywacko, you should be a science fiction writer. That was really good.

"I'm the leader now."

Sounds like me when my friend has been pissing me off in MP.
