Missle launchers and freeplay time limits?

Where do you find missle launchers? I have salvaged nearly 70 missles in the first 2 missions and have no way to use them. I know the 'Q' key launches them, but I can't find a launcher. Maybe I am just missing them...

PS: Is freeplay time limited in the game? I tried to freeplay after mission 1 and completed 5-8 missions, then the game would not let me accept another mission till I started and completed mission 2. Then I could freeplay again. My mission log showed that I have no active missions. I wish the manual was a little more extensive.

as far as missile launchers, you can buy those if you aren't able to salvage any, mostly from bases, first couple of missions in the game you wont be able to really use any of the launchers except javelin launcher

there's no time limit as far as freeplay goes, but during SP you cant advance levels when your status is shown as "Mission" for advancing to next level. but you can still do other missions just dont have to accept them from Juni and you can go and do other missions or trade to get your credits up and then go to her when you are ready.. she will still be there.

Check your invnetory after fights. Any weapons you pick up will be at the bottom of the list undocked.

Always use your tractor beam. Every time you blow something up, press the tractor key. AI's drop guns, ammo, components, cargo, batteries/nanos...every type of useful stuff. Even if you can't make use of it, you can make credits off it.
