Grouping Weapons

I have searcher and checked FAQ and manual....

Is there no way of grouping weapons....so I can do the obvious and have all my shield hurting weapons in one group and my hull poppers in another....thus not drain energy for no real reason.....I assume this is stated somewhere and I just cant see it ? Surely this is possible (mech warrior 1 had weapons groups !)

I've been wondering this myself!

I hope it's possible!

Do you guys even own the game?!?

Check the keyboard configuration menu in the game and there are lots of options for grouping weapons.

uhhh wow... manual shmanual...
(under controls, user interface i believe)

set Assign group to alt #

set select wepaon to ctrl #

set activeate group to shift #

now go into the game, select your anti shield... debillitator, stunpulse, whatever

hit alt # (1 for instance) (or if u moved around alt/shift/ctrl whichever is assign group)

then select the other weapons (hull mashers, mining, etc) and hit assign #X+1, where X is the last nu,mber you used...

now when u are done, hit Acitvate group #, #+1, #+2, etc until u make usre all ur guns are set...

then go stick your head in something unpleasant for being so lame as to not figure this out

Prior to sticking my head in something particularly 'orrible...I would like to say in my defense I checked the keyboard foldout...which only talks of Ctrl and Shift and I read section 4 (weapons) which helped me with the rather obvious fire and select (with no apparent reason) and I texted searched the MicroShaft FAQ and these forums for group.

Thankyou....
