A lot of nations were destroyed during, between, and after Starlancer. C'mon, the LAPD could destroy the Royal Canadian Army or whatever All jokes aside, I wouldn't be suprised if a lot of people from other nations (like Canada) hitched a ride with Liberty and Bretonia, moreso them than others for obvious reasons. So, while the nationalities did not die out completely, there were probably so few that escaped that there just isn't any point in trying to form a faction. My theory is that a lot of smaller western nations were consolidated into fewer bigger ones, before the Alliance was driven from earth before Starlancer.

Then again, there are other sects of the Alliance mentioned like Canada, Australia, South Africa, and Scotland. Whether these divisions of the Alliance have their own fleets or not I don't know. That would answer a lot of questions though

maybe the sleeper ship hockeypuck was destroyed during take off from the planet.

it's kind of strange because spain was never mentioned in SL. I guess they were neutral and came into the war later when everyone was forced to choose sides.

I think that all alliance nations were on the sleepers, not just the ones who named them...remember: "each ship was christened after its PATRON nation"...that means the country that built and maintained it, but not necessarily the only one ON it.
