About the single player and more...

I bought the game here in Greece, brace yourselves, for 88 EUROS!!! because it was imported from the US,in limited boxes. However I couldnt wait for the European release.
What I want to know is:
1)After finishing the campaign in the single player can you continue playing or it stops their? Moreover, are all the systems available for visiting?
2)Why in the intro movie they cut the scene in which the nomads destroy earth? We saw this in an earlier video.
3)Did you entered the Alieware code for winning a pc that came with game?It seems more of a registering trick in my opinion.
All in all the game is great and very stable. The good thing about games taking too long to be released is that they come out very stable. The same thing goes for Conquest Frontier Wars which was very stable also.Given the scope of the game however I can understand why it took so much time, you can dock almost everywhere.DA guys keep up the good work.

First, the game never ends... When all of the storyline missions are completed, you are free to explore, trade, mine, hunt or whatever you want to do. Apparently, not all systems are available after the storyline missions are done (two systems are closed after that, but they´re available before that). But, since i have just finished Mission 2, I must say I may be wrong.

Second, I don´t know why the intro video was cut short... One of the moderators may know it, but I think it will be a spoiler...

Third, never heard of this Alienware code... What is it?

My complain about instability goes to ATI drivers (haven´t upgrade to Catalyst 3.2 yet), with some slowdown during combats, but I´m still playing the game without problems.

Hope this helps.

Here's my answers...

2) I don't think the nomads would have played the same role in the game that they played in the released version if they would have been the ones who destroyed earth. Consider possibly that Freeport 7 took the Earth's place....still the nomads but not on such a big scale.

3) The Alienware contest is still on, but unfortunately it's not open to people outside the U.S. ( for everyone who's international). But it's a nice system, I just wouldn't plan on it being used much as a portable....that thing is heavy...

I downloaded the original intro off this site, and, having seen it, I'd say that since it shows so much of Earth and the Coalition/Alliance war (cool stuff, too) one would expect the game to be located there. Obviously, it's not. And for those who never played, or even never heard of Starlancer (myself included), they might be wondering why so much of this stuff is being shown when the game isn't even located there. Maybe if Freelancer was released a couple years after Starlancer came out, when the original game was still fresh in people's mind, they might have left it...
