I am running a Althon XP 1800+ with a MSI GeForce4 MX 440. Fine when playing the single player campaign but will exprience some lag when playng multiplayer. Personally, I suggest that you go for the ATI cards.

Don't tell me that I'm a dreamer, I'd rather find out on my own...

I always had nVidia cards and though I loved them, I always heard people say that although the ATI cards were crap (at the time - this was more than a eyar ago) they had better color control.

Well havign made on of the best purcahses of my life, a All-in-Wonder 9700 Pro, I can confirm it's true. Colors look so much richer and full of life than they did on either my TNT2, GeForce 1, or GeForce 3; and it's not just a minor difference, it's immediately perceptable.

Oh yes, I must say that Thru-view TV is the greatest invention ever made. It runs TV semi-transparent in the background so you can be in something like a word processor and be watching TV at the same time without using seperate windows.

Oh HECK YEAH!
That transparent TV while surfing or working is GREAT!!!
ATI RULES!
Just keep it up!
