Flying through planets???

Is it possable to fly from space through the atmosphere and land on a planet and visa versa, but without cutscenes (manualy) like in "Elite"???

I wish you could land manualy. I can imagine it:
"Freelancer 1-1, you are cleared for docking. Please proceed to dock 3"
"Freelancer 1-1, please let us dock your ship"
"Freelancer 1-1, please slow down"
"Freelancer 1-1, slow down please"
"Freelancer 1-1, slow down!"
"Freelancer 1-1, SLOW DOWN!!!"
"Freelancer 1-1, YOUR COMING IN ALL WRONG!!!"
"Cleanup crew alpha gold, Clean up at dock 3"

hehe, you could have a fear rating at the docking stations based on how you dock/land.

When I die, I want to go just like my grandpa did, peacfully and quietly in my sleep. Not screaming and crying like the other passengers in the car.
