Ramming kill!

Earlier today, I found myself fighting some Liberty Rogues. When I was down the last one, it was clear it was going to be a crazy easy fight (I was in a Startracker, nothing too uber), and so I decided to play with the Rogue rather than killing it right away. So I started "chasing" it, just strying to stay on its tail without shooting it.

After shooting it a little, the status bar looked like both the shield and the hull were empty. So I presume it was the cusp of death. That's when I kicked the in the afterburner and ran into the Bloodhound. And it actually killed it! (And ended the mission, etc).

I didn't think that ramming caused much damage, but I guess it does cause, like, 2 points of damage or something

I always seem to get rammed... and then I usually bounce off three or four pieces of debris before I can regain control. Talk about a good way to go through shield batteries...

I bother people in multiplayer by constantly ramming them.

If it's not a PVP server, there's not much they can do

There are only 10 kinds of people in the world:
those who understand binary, and those who don't.

I've killed people in multiplayer by ramming.

Hah I've got a better one for ya.

Have you ever been rammed by a ship travelling trough a trade lane?

I sometimes, when I enter a trade lane at the middle, get rammed by a passing transporter going at 1000+ m/s(or whatever the speed measurment is) and I can tell ya, it hurts, a full bar of shields every time.

Also I've found that sometimes when I ram an enemy I lost more than half my speed. It happens at those times when the enemy afterburns away from you then turns and does a chicken run kinda thing, so both of us ram into eachother at afterburn seepd, that hurts too...

Normally, ramming hardly ever seems to hurt me at all. Even by trade lane freighters. I don't honestly know what you guys are talking about.

I enjoy getting rammed by something once I'm "locked in" to a docking sequence.

im not sure, but i think that when u are first in a trade lane and when traveling thru it, u are "invisble" to the oter ppl... it would seriously suck if u got hit at +1000m/s....

oops i tred to ram the planet...

Warning, entering atmosphere. Danger, high heat levels. Hull breach immi-BOOM

lol.... i like going inside of friendly stations, not docking, but thrusting into it when it opens for an npc, then whenever someone docks i blast em out of the sky.... hafta be careful to get out afterwards tho.... those doors are mighty strong (10 starkillers, no effect...)
