STEALTH!!!

In the campain the rheinlanders can cloak/stealth.. is this also possible for the players??? thnx

Nope, only available to NPC's and only available in the SP storyline unfortunately...

I find a good way to cloak my ship is to fly it into a mine field. There is a bright flash of light, a loud noise, and then I'm invisible!! Works like a charm...

But for some reason the "Load Game" menu comes up every time...

Must be a bug...

if you fly at cruise speed trough a partical cloud that lowers "sensor efficency" you are stealth, you'll only hear a bounce of hackers say, area is clear, no hostiles, radar shows nothing.
Its verry nice to hear that when you've got a load of diamond in your trunk.

Yeah, and every time the Rhinelanders uncloak, they do it during cut-scenes

There were originally plans for player-ownable cloaking devices and there are still parts of it left deep in the game's data, but as of yet no one has gotten it to work quite right again.
