Why do so many dislike the Wolfhound?

I just bought one from Montezuma Station... I'm only @ Level 13 (playing through the SP storyline again).

I think it looks pretty cool! Has this terrifying and lethal look to it. Plus, it can carry an impressive payload... 5 guns, 1 turret... And nice power ratings for its level... Plus, it can carry 26 nano's and 26 shield batteries!

I think this ship rocks.

Uck, IMO the Pirate ships are seriously ugly. The bloodhound is the worst of the bunch but the wolfhound isn't to far behind.

I don't really run this place but I have an understanding with the people who do.

Same here. Butt ugly. Primary reason I'll never fly a Titan. Ugly.

Sometimes you just gotta be more concerned about style and sacrifice a few abilities. :-)

Don't think of it as being outnumbered. Think of it as having a larger target selection.

I like them, because they're so ugly!

I don't think they're bad ships. I never flew the bloodhound or wolfhound, but, I did have a mule for a while. Nice ship, 4/4 weapons/turrets and decent power. So ugly, it was cool. Handled well for a freighter even.

erm ugaly? they sweet. The pirate ships and boarder world ships are SO much nice than the same boring ones. The mule rocks one u look at in turret view. But My frave ship has to be the daggor it looks SO COOL. And ive had a LOT of ships.

They're ugly. What's more, their appearance is so ungainly that I can't imagine the thing being a fighter, or starship, at all. It looks like Picasso's idea of a pirate's galleo. When it's not looking like a galleon, it looks like Picasso's version of a turkey. Nothing in it's design looks rational or reasonable in the least. I can't imagine how anyone would want to own such a thing, let alone admit it. I defy anyone to point out a reason that someone would make a space fighter that looks like it...aside from distracting enemy pilots with laughter or pity.

Well the pirate ships DO have unusually large cargo capacity for their size. That could explain some of the appearance. The wolfhound kinda reminds me of a train...and while the titan looks kinda weird with the loop around the ship, the centurian looks pretty cool.

My only experience with bloodhounds and wolfhounds has been when I've been fighting them. And they've been REALLY easy to kill. They seem unmaneuverable, but maybe that's the pilots.

went about 5 or 6 levels since, and I still have the Wolfhound.

I love this ship... But I still can't wait to get a Sabre. That things specs look really sweet.

Get a Titan, it has even better specs and is well uglier than a Sabre.
