I've encountered a few different bases surrounded by minefields(not talking about zone21, that seems to be some weird instant death area). Is there any way to get to the bases these minfields surround? Is there a path I need to find for each one?
You may also be flying a ship ill-equiped to handle mine field navigation. Your going to bump into one or two eventually. I suggest anything above an Anubis should get you through them fine. Except as EB said, the super dense fields. Nothing will get you through them, you have to look for an opening in the mines.
I don't really run this place but I have an understanding with the people who do.

With the molly base as an example, you can kick in the cruise engines, go into manual flight mode, and generally avoid mines. Just don't fly too close to them.
It's also fun to watch the enmy fly into them. Earlier today I picked up some bandits on my scanners, and instead of moving to attack i positioned myself so mines were in between us. The entire flight splattered
