I finished the missions portion of the game, and it automatically maxed out my levels at 30-something and said "maxlevel" on what i needed to gain again... there isnt a whole lot to do after that except random missions you've completed dozens of times and picking off freighters at the trade lanes... my internet connection is too slow for multiplayer.

Edit = By the way, if you get bored with running missions and trade attacks try downloading one of the mods from the downloads page. I've got a super slow connection just like you and mods are the only reason I didn't stop playing FL 3 months ago.

hi people. i had the same problem with leveling up after finishing SP game,but after lots of playing i achieved max level (38).TO EXPLAIN when i finished game i started making some money in new york system but it only gave me 1 level up,and i couldn't get higher level. so i started to EXPLORE SYSTEMS in order to find wrechages in remote locations (cheking on map patrol ruts), and every time i found one that had CODENAME WEAPONS on it-shoot wreckage ONCE or TWiCE with your weakest weapon,then you will be able to tractor items from wreckage and you wiil get 1 level up. so i found all codename weapons(10 or so) and other wreckages that had ordinary items on them and i achieved level 34(maybe 35 can't remember). last 4 levels i got while i was MINING asteroids(niobium,gold,silver,diamonds etc.) JUST SEARCH FOR WRECKAGES OF SHIPS (ITS FUN) AND YOU WILL GET YOUR LEVELS. I HOPE I WAS ABLE TO HELP!!!!!!!!!

Having trouble getting to level 35. It says I need a mission, what mission.
