Can''t Level Up after Finishing SP Game

Has this happened to anyone? I just finished the SP portion of FreeLancer and my stats said I needed 161,000 to advance to my next level. I had around 59,000. SO I got a Freighter and did a big Trade Run (Luxury Food). When I finished selling it my Worth Jumped to 163000, but I did not get a Congratularions you are now level 19. Instead It now says my Worth is 163000 and to reach the next level my worth must be 73,000. Acutally lower than my current worth. Is there any way to fix this?

Also this is an unmodified version of the Game. I just installed it and played. I changed nothing with the game.

That value indicates how much more you'll need to level up... not the amount for next level.

OK, that may be true, however I saved the game last night and when I loaded it today it now says the next level up is a mission. But I am completely finished with the game as far as I know.

i'm having the same problem. i'm stuck at a level 18 and have been that way for weeks now. i have twice the amount needed to progress, but the total changes. i really want to buy some stuff that you can only get at higher levels too.

Contact tech support maybe? Sounds like a bug to me, after a week and having all the $ or finishing the campaign and having a mission notation, I have to think there is a problem.

Maybe someone had this and figured it out. If you do, please post.

when I start that last mission I'm 17, and when I'm done I've come out as level 32 and 34 the 2 times I finished. I've been wondering what the point of all the extra ships is if I never get to use them

I basically went from an Anubis to the Sabre or Titan immediately. hmm.

I am almost positive that the maximum level you can attain in SP is 18. I haven't gotten that far but I read it somewhere. You need to play MP to level higher (uo to 36 or something like that).

You can hit 38 in S/P. The amount shown to next level is not the Total you need, but how much More you need.

And the reason you came out high level after the s/p missions is because you had cash and/or worth (equipment). If you finish the game with an Anubis and not much cash, you come out as 18.

So it pays then I guess to do some serious trading b/w the main story missions and hoard some coin huh?

Can you transfer your SP character into MP or do you need to start over?

That's providing you can find the Sabre or Titan, I've been playing for 40+ hours and still don't know where to buy the Sabre (although im not exactly on the best of terms with the Red Hessians). Either way, they are not exactly the easiest ships to find.

I don't really run this place but I have an understanding with the people who do.

The Red Hessians don't sell the Sabre. It sounds like a lot of you guys are experiencing bugs. I finished the SP part at level 18. I'm at 31 now.

i finished the sp at 19 i think... for the moment im on 35 or 36... in mp im on 38 cuz a guy gave me and a friend 31 000 000 credits...

Was that a flying zuccini?

Yeah, it must be a bug. I'm now level 31. I did another trade run, even though my screeen said next level mission. As soon as I finished the trade run it leveled me up to 24. Then I purchased some diamonds and it leveled me up again to 26. I didn't even sell them I just purchased them. Then I sold them back to the same base and went to another base and bought diamonds again and it leveled me up again. Kinda cool.

So you guys still play in SP after the quests are all done, or did you go to MP with you ship/character?
