Yep, just keep playing the missions, not necessarily the storyline missions, build up on experience and equipment and $$$ and go from there. You'll make it, it might just take some time...good thing you're not in a hurry so like you say, you can enjoy it...

seriously, if it really bothers u so mch, start over (if ur only at leeds, ucant be more than 5-10 hours in the game anyway, im just ahead of u and i spend LOTS and LOTS of time btw missions, and now have 13 hrs of gameplay...) and then btw each story mission do as many as u can in the time, level requirement upgrades as allowed, then do maybe 4, 5, maybe even 6 more missions before moving on to the next, and equipment soon becomes no problem. try to increase early on to 100k by the time u get to bret, and then the weps u buy and the ship ull want to get won't hurt ur purse too much.

i am just beginning SPM5, and have over 150k, so.... hopefully as the misisons get richer and richer, i will peak 250k before the 7th story quest

Yah, thought of that, but I did so much damn exploring heh. I guess I could also zoom faster thru it all than I did getting to this point, as Im a bit more experienced.

I am based in Manchester before mission 5 at Birmingham Station for resupply and taking a one hop to Sheffield to cap Bounty hunters. I may have every bounty hunter in the universe out to get me (which sounds awfully cool anyway) but I am seeing minor improvements with the outcasts, corsairs and such. I only hope that the local police dont start hating me all of suddem cause I am really putting a crimp into the Bounty hunter recruiting efforts, heh.
